General: From the mists of Avalon comes a magical and mystical breed. The Excalibur cat was created from a stray discovered on the shores of Camelot by the Three Sisters. They empowered the cat with intelligence and a comforting purr to both protect and comfort the sleeping King Aurthur during his long slumber as he healed from his the wounds inflicted upon him by Mordred in the final battle to preserve Camelot. With the aid of Merlin, the Three Sisters fortified the Excalibur cat with magical healing properties and spiritual insight. This breed of cat flourished on the Isle of Avalon, slowly venturing into the outside world as time went by, to become the guardians of humans they find worthy today.
