Bohemian Rhapsody
General: The Bohemian Rhapsody is an eclectic breed first documented in 14th Century Bohemia. Being social yet very elusive and independent, the Bohemian Rhapsody thrived with the various "Romani" villages as they travelled their domain; they proved useful to their Bohemian hosts, keeping the camps free from vermin and other pests, as well as providing companionship for their hosts in the cold evenings. Born to roam, these kitties never remained in one place very long. Just when you have painstakingly gained their trust and perhaps even names your new-found companion, they are gone. In modern civilization, the Bohemian Rhapsody was believed to be near extinction. A closer look at modern-day Romani communities reveal the Bohemian Rhapsody to be alive, well, and thriving in their chosen environment. As a result of this discovery, a few breeders have attempted domesticating this beautiful and elusive breed with some success. For those of you lucky enough to be chosen as a companion by this lovely and clever breed, and as much as they may express affection and contentment in your care, don't be surprised if they seem to vanish into thin air one day; as it is in their nature to roam and be free, when opportunity knocks, these kitties can't resist the call of the wild. However, many have been noted to occasionally return to the places they have inhabited...if you are lucky.
